Increasing the knowledge in climate radiative feedbacks is critical for current climate studies. This work focuses on short-term relationships between global mean surface temperature and top-of-atmosphere (TOA) net radiation. The relationships may be used to characterize the climate feedback as suggested by some recent studies. As those recent studies, an energy balance model with ocean mixed layer and both radiative and non-radiative heat sources is used here. The significant improvement of current model is that climate system memories are considered.Based on model simulations, short-term relationship between global mean surface temperature and TOA net radiation (or the linear striation feature as suggested by previous studies) might represent climate feedbacks when the system had no memories. However, climate systems with the same short-term feedbacks but different memories would have a similar linear striation feature. This linear striation feature reflects only fast components of climate feedbacks and may not represent the total climate feedback even when the memory length of climate systems is minimal. The potential errors in the use of short-term relationships in estimations of climate sensitivity could be big. In short time scales, fast climate processes may overwhelm long-term climate feedbacks. Thus, the climate radiative feedback parameter obtained from short-term data may not provide a reliable estimate of climate sensitivity. This result also suggests that long-term observations of global surface temperature and TOA radiation are critical in the understanding of climate feedbacks and sensitivities. 相似文献

根据分数阶线性系统的稳定理论,将混沌系统分成稳定的线性部分和相应的非线性部分.设计主动控制器,对非线性部分进行补偿,从而将分数阶混沌系统控制到平衡点.为了提高主动控制器的补偿能力,提出基于反馈的多最小二乘支持向量机(M-LS-SVM)拟合模型.通过减聚类方法将输入空间划分为一些小的局部空间,在每个局部空间中用LS-SVM建立子模型.为解决子模型相互之间的严重相关问题,提高模型的精度和鲁棒性,各个子模型的预测输出通过主元递归(PCR)方法连接.仿真实验表明该方法有助于提高补偿精度和系统响应指标.

近期文献中报道了在具有自适应反馈突触的神经元模型中,随着参数的变化,存在从两个共存吸引子到一个相连吸引子再到两个共存吸引子的混沌转化现象.本文对此模型进行了电路设计,同时对具有非单调激活函数功能的电路设计进行了细致的研究,并利用Electronic Workbench (EWB)软件对所设计的电路进行了仿真实验,研究了电路中的混沌现象,验证了所设计电路的动力学行为与通过数值模拟结果十分相似.

The guaranteed cost control (GCC) problem involved in decentralized robust control of a class of uncertain nonlinear large-scale stochastic systems with high-order interconnections is considered. After determining the appropriate conditions for the stochastic GCC controller, a class of decentralized local state feedback controllers is derived using the linear matrix inequality (LMI). The extension of the result of the study to the static output feedback control problem is discussed by considering the Karush-Kuhn-Tucker (KKT) conditions. A variety of problems in nonlinear time-evolution systems such as communication networks, computer networks, manufacturing, traffic management, etc., can be modelled as min–max-plus systems in which operations of min, max and addition appear simultaneously. Systems with only maximum (or minimum) constraints can be modelled as max-plus system and handled by max-plus algebra which changes the original nonlinear system in the traditional sense into linear system in this framework. Min-max-plus systems are extensions of max-plus systems and nonlinear even in the max-plus algebra view. Output feedback stabilization for min–max-plus systems with min–max-plus inputs and max-plus outputs is considered in this paper. Max-plus projection representation for the closed-loop system with min–max-plus output feedback is introduced and the formula to calculate the cycle time is presented. Stabilization of reachable systems with at least one observable state and a further result for reachable and observable systems are worked out, during which max-plus output feedbacks are used to stabilize the systems. We consider a nonlinear mathematical model of hematopoietic stem cell dynamics, in which proliferation and apoptosis are controlled by growth factor concentrations. Cell proliferation is positively regulated, while apoptosis is negatively regulated. The resulting age-structured model is reduced to a system of three differential equations, with three independent delays, and existence of steady states is investigated. The stability of the trivial steady state, describing cells dying out with a saturation of growth factor concentrations is proven to be asymptotically stable when it is the only equilibrium. The stability analysis of the unique positive steady state allows the determination of a stability area, and shows that instability may occur through a Hopf bifurcation, mainly as a destabilization of the proliferative capacity control, when cell cycle durations are very short. Numerical simulations are carried out and result in a stability diagram that stresses the lead role of the introduction rate compared to the apoptosis rate in the system stability. 相似文献
